Privacy policy
In short: this site does not ask for personal details, does not use cookies of its own, and does not run analytics or advertising at the moment.
Last updated: 11 October 2026.
Who we are
This website is run by Michael Theodore, trading as Scoville Chart. You can reach us at [email protected].
What this site collects
Nothing about you is collected by the pages themselves. The chilli finder, filters and compare tool all work in your browser. What you choose is not sent to us and is not stored after you leave the page. There are no accounts, sign-ups or comment forms.
Hosting
The site is delivered by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the requests your browser makes to load the pages and may keep standard technical logs (for example, IP address, time and the page requested) for security and operation. See Cloudflare's own privacy policy for details of what they do.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers at the moment.
If you contact us
If you email us, we will see your email address and what you write. We use it only to reply and to correct the site, and we do not share it.
If advertising is added later
We may add display advertising in future, for example through Google AdSense. If that happens, this policy will be updated before any advertising code goes live. Advertising partners can use cookies or similar technologies to show ads, including ads based on your earlier visits to this or other sites, and to measure them. The update will explain which partners are involved, what they collect, and how to opt out or change your choices, and where the law requires it the site will ask for your consent first.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will replace this page and the "Last updated" date above will change.
